Nqa Blayed is a sculptor and installation artist based on Gadigal land (Sydney). Her practice explores balance, tension, and collapse through materials of construction. She holds an MFA from Central Saint Martins (2020) and a BFA (Hons) from UNSW Art & Design (2014).
Nqa Blayed has presented work across artist-run spaces, galleries, and festivals in Australia, the UK, and Belgium. Recent exhibitions include What Did They Tell You? at UNO Studios (2025); Counter-Reverie (solo) at Lunettes and TOOTH (solo) at DRAWSpace (2024); and Ulterior Noises at AIRSpace Projects (2024). Other projects include Mantle II at Firstdraft (2023), Beinnarly at aMBUSH Gallery (2023), and the award-winning Offcut Challenge Awards at Among the Trees (2023). Internationally, she has exhibited at Central Saint Martins, the Tate Exchange, and Apiary Studios in London, as well as La Louvière, Belgium.
